Dimplex Ignite Ultra 40-inch electric fireplace
The Dimplex Ignite Ultra 40-inch electric fireplace is a versatile choice for a living-room feature wall. Available from SunSource in Malta, the ULT40-EU offers a choice of front-facing, corner and panoramic layouts without a chimney or flue.
Illuminated logs and crackling sound
The new generation of Optiflame technology creates a layered flame display above illuminated logs. Their pulsing inner glow adds movement to the fuel bed, while selectable crackling sounds and adjustable volume let you tailor the atmosphere. Change the flame colour, brightness and speed to suit the room.
Controls and heating
Use the supplied remote, the on-fire controls or Dimplex’s Flame Connect app to adjust the fire. Comfort$aver heating and a thermostat help maintain the selected room temperature, with heating rated up to 2kW. You can also run the flame display without heat for ambience during warmer weather.
Dimplex’s European product sheet specifies 30W for the 40-inch model in flame-only mode. The heater uses additional power; the flame-only figure must not be used as a heating running-cost estimate.
