Conditions of Sale

  1. For any orders to be placed a minimum deposit of 40% is required.

  2. Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be transferred or exchanged between customers.

  3. If the delivery date is set for the future, some items ordered may be discontinued by the manufacturer. In such cases, models and prices may be subject to change. The customer agrees not to hold Sunsource or the manufacturer liable for such changes. In the ‘common sense of practice’ one must understand that booking and holding an order for a long time comes with obvious possible changes and improvements. Ie. new technology is always replacing older technologies hence .

  4. To amend the delivery date, the customer must contact SunSource in writing at [email protected] or by calling 2758 1303. The maximum extension is 90 days. If the customer wishes to extend the delivery beyond 90 days (up to a maximum of 12 months), the order must be paid in full.

  5. The customer is solely responsible for following up on their order and notifying SunSource if an extension is required. If 12 months elapse from the order date without written communication, the order will be considered abandoned, and both the deposit and goods will be forfeited. SunSource shall not be held liable in such cases. Sunsource is not to be held responsible for chasing up orders placed more than 90 days.

  6. If an order is cancelled after 15 days, the deposit may be transferred to another item of equal or greater value. Should a refund be requested, a 20% restocking fee will apply.

  7. If order content qualifies ; Deliveries to ground floor or kerbside locations are free of charge. If delivery involves stairs or access above ground floor, a €25 fee will apply for 2 person lifting services payable to the engaged couriers.

  8. If a scheduled delivery is cancelled on the same day, rescheduling will be subject to a courier charge of up to €30.

  9. Delivered items must be stored in a suitable environment until installation.

  10. Delivery post-ponements must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.

  11. Client is responsible to inform Sunsource of the possible delivery variations. Stairs , lifter service, high ramps and similar conditions. If the delivery team deems the site inaccessible or unsafe, SunSource reserves the right to reschedule the delivery at possible clients costs. All engaged courier companies are insured or not insured to carry certain heavy weights and as by law can refuse carrying items up or down stairs and similar situations.

  12. Customers must be aware that goods exceeding 165cm in size typically do not fit in most lifts. It is the client’s responsibility to assess access in advance and inform SunSource of any special delivery requirements, such as the need for lifter or hoist services. Failure to do so may result in delays or additional delivery charges.

  13. Any issues regarding the order or product damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to [email protected].

  14. SunSource reserves the right to reject any order if pricing or product information has been published in error.

  15. Restocking & Delays
      The approximate restocking period is between 6 to 8 weeks (in working days). If the order exceeds this timeframe or superceded any pre arranged date in writing by Sunsource and has not been fulfilled, the client is entitled to a 1% to 3%  deduction on the total value excluding vat , of the delayed item(s). 
      SunSource works directly with manufacturers, and most items are not off-the-shelf. As such, occasional delays may occur due to material availability or production lead times. While we strive to meet estimated delivery schedules, SunSource will not be held liable for delays affecting third-party projects, including construction or installation timelines.
      In the exceptional case that the restocking period ( unless agreed in writing otherwise ) exceeds 12 weeks (in working days), the client may cancel the order and request a full refund of any payments made for the delayed item(s).

  16. Warranty standard terms All products comes with a minimum standard 2 TWO years commercial limited warranty & Labour 1 ONE years only is applicable. Sunsource may request the defective item to be brought in-store if the case is deemed more sensible.
